Admins,
I need to switch two systems IP and hostnames with each other.
The /etc/hosts files are the same on both systems (They both have each others IP and host name in them)
Their subnet mask and gateways are the same on both systems.
I thought I would use set_parms hostname xxxxx and set_parms ip_address xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
Now what I am not sure about is do I need to manually change the /etc/rc.config.d/netconf or will the set_parms handle this? And if I do need to manually change the /etc/rc.config.d/netconf what part of it do I need to change?
When I searched the archives there seemed to be some conflicting information about the /etc/rc.config.d/netconf file.
Big TIA and I will summarize.
Tom
