[HPADM] LUN using FC60

I'm having a problem accessing data that maybe I am just not understanding
something going on here. Hopefully, someone else has some experience
that may help.

I have an FC60 system with 4 LUNs, of which LUN 1 is reporting status
of "DEAD:DSK FAILURES",
2 disks in this LUN are reporting status of "REPLACED", and all other
disks are reporting OPTIMAL. The 2 disks in REPLACED status are
mirrors of each other. We have 6 SPARE disks, but these SPAREs
are not being used to spare any disks.

An ioscan shows all disks as being CLAIMED, but a diskinfo command
shows "size 0, bytes per sector 0" even with the other info correct for the
2 disks that show up as Replaced with the amdsp command. A
diskinfo command for the other disks shows as normal. Raid 1 is
being used.

The way this situation came about is:
1. disk at 1:3 went bad. HP replaced the disk.
2. Someone pulled the mirror 5:2 at some point, not sure of timing
3. Disks 5:2 and 1:3 are both now in Replaced status

One option is to remove LUN 1 and recreate it, but will this change
the status of the disks? I don't believe removing/adding a LUN will
change the diskinfo status, but I'm not sure what options I have.

Since disk 5:2 was pulled and reinserted, would it not still contain
the data from which I could remirror the data? But if so, why would
the diskinfo command report 0 bytes, and for both 1:3 and 5:2?

Thanks
Dennis
