Many thanks to all who answered.
The answer was install DTC Manager.

As it happens I discovered that DTC Manager was installed on an old
Windows 3.11 PC. which was in an old office and had been turned off.
I am now going to install DTC manager on hpux and configure it from there.

regards,

Julian

Subject: [HPADM] How to configure a DTC 48 model 2345

Hi,
We have a factory using radio terminal equipment attached via a DTC 16
model 2340. Connection to the server was via OCD running on hpux v10. This
stopped working and it was determined that the DTC 16 was at fault so it
was replaced with DTC 48. According to the HP engineer on site this has
been configured to use the same MAC address as the DTC 16. When we switch
on the DTC 48 it get so far and then hangs. According to him it receives
its IP address and boot info from the server.
I have looked in /etc/bootptab but I can see no reference to the MAC
address or the IP address that OCD is configured to connect to.
This is a long shot but does anyone out there know how the DTC is
configured?

regards,
Julian
