Hi
I have two boxes. Everyday I am copying a full directory structure from
Box1 to Box 2. Before copying, I am removing the full directory structure
from Box2. Now my doubt is when I run du -sk <directory name> shows
different values. The number of files, number sub directories, size of each
file are same in both the boxes. then why du shows different? is it
something to do with not freed inode? Can someone explain me, what exactly
du does?
