Hi,
K class server running 10.20.
We have an application running on this server. The
application administrators receive passwords reset at
least few times a day. I set up 'restricted SAM' for
them to change users' passwords, but now they want to
pass this responsibility to the help desk folks. I am
reluctant because I am afraid that the passwd file may
get messed up. Any suggestions or ideas that I can
safeguard this process? Also, anyones have written
scripts to change password in the passwd file?
TIA
