Admins,
I have an archive tape in tar format as well as several archive tapes in fbackup that I can not read on any of my current tape drives. All I can figure is that the head on the drive that they were written on was out of alignment.
Does anybody have a tiup on how to restore these tapes, or know of a firm that can perform this service?
