[HPADM] Summary - hot plug event

I only got a couple of responses pointing me to the arraydsp and arraymgr
commands. From everything I can see using these commands, the array
is healthy but I still have no idea what took place nor regarding the
answers
to any of my specific questions.

Original post on 7/22/02:

I have an HP Surestore E Disk Array 12H attached to an HP 9000/785/J5000
running HPUX 11.0. I got this email today.

=======================================
Sun Jul 21 14:22:58 2002
Array Monitor Daemon
=======================================
Disk array on /dev/rdsk/c4t1d0 at aiken
is processing a hot plug event. Do not remove
disk until the array has finished processing the event.

#1. What is a 'hot plug event'?
#2. Do I have reason to be concerned?
#3. How do I know when "the array has finished processing the event"?
#4. Where can I find more info on Array Monitor Daemons "events"?
       I tried searching 'hot plug event' on docs.hp.com and in the
       archives
       without much luck.
