and answers to Common (and not so common) questions that i've kept over
the years. A personal FAQ if you will

Solaris versus Other OS documents.
These are documents which tell how to do things in other OS's if you're
used to using Solaris. I've kept these as reference documents when moving
around to different environments and trying to be productive.
- HP/UX specifics: though there was a GREAT
posting to Sun Net Managers on 3/12/01 by Anthony Kruse with a complete
reference guide of Solaris-HP/UX commands.
- IRIX (SGI) specifics
- Linux specifics. Primarily Red Hat and
derivatives..also has some Linux general info.
- I've worked with other flavors (DG/UX, AIX, Ultrix, NCR ATT v5r3, SCO)
but never enough to develop a conversion document like these
Email stuff
- Hoax email message response: a standard
email message i send to people who pass along Hoax email viruses/chains/etc

transcript from a spoofing of port 25 on a sendmail server. Not foolproof,
but useful for mail connectivity testing.
Security stuff
- ILOVEYOU virus: want to see the code? here's a
copy of an entire email message I received with the virus code attached.
Its not the executable by any means; its the registry edit codes behind
the scenes.
- Links virus: Another VisualBasic piece
of rogue code that got sent to me. Don't worry; its not an executable.
Its the VB code.
