I've had the same problem on my first 4.3.3 to 5.2 migration.

Best Lesson Learned:
"Break the rootvg mirror first..."

Second-Best Lesson Learned:
"3am on a Sunday morning is not the best time to be calling AIX support."

here it is. Feel free to ask any questions.

Pay attention to the dates in the spreadsheet. As we progressed, we added
more information to each upgrade, based on issues from previous upgrades.
