Re: lpd daemon is not working (inoperative)

Hi Everyone,

I did start the daemon (manually) for several times. Check the /etc/rc.tcpip
and confirmed the line for lpd is not commented. And last, i rebooted the
server but still a failure.

Pls. advise what will i do next.

I had setup a remote printer on our AIX box but the daemon is not working..

root@beetle: # /usr/bin/lssrc -s lpd
Subsystem Group PID Status
 lpd spooler inoperative
