1. The rootvg can be mirrored using the "mirrorvg" command. There are a few
additional steps, which are mentioned in the man page. For a better
explanation, consult the IBM Hints and Tips for System Administrators
web-page. (Link below, somewhere.)
2. You just don't need to do this with AIX.
3. IBM run a course for experienced administrators of other UNIX variants.
One of my colleagues did it a couple of years ago and reckoned it was quite
good.
