You should not change the usr group ID.
imnadm you probably can change, provided you remember to change all of the
files as well. (Simple enough with the find command.)

Broadly speaking, any UID or GID below 128 is reserved. Anything above that
is for your use. If you change a GID that's already in use, there is some
risk of breaking the application. (I've actually come across one
application which appears to have a UID hard-coded in it, bizarre though
that seems!)
