The way it's set up, there are a number of slave
servers running, and all the clients (80 or so) point
to the slaves. So, I was thinking I could maybe just
tar off all the DNS data, ftp it over, untar it, and
then have the NT admins (who manage the slaves) change
where they point.

Would this work? If so, do I just need to grab the
files in /var/named and /etc/named (I can only see
those two directories as having any DNS data in them).

BTW, yes, they are using bind. No real motivation to
get away from that right now.
