Hi Simon,
I've got an F80 and I also use 3153 ASCII terminals, the AIX 4.3.3
CDs I've got are dated from 10/2000 and they seem to work fine
last time I used them.
Although its been quite a while since then...
Also an interesting note on AIX 4.3.3 ML10 and above. IBM has
stated many times that the POWER4 processors are not supported
in AIX 4.3.3. But in fact they are! I just recently upgraded my
single CPU F80, Power3 450Mhz to a single CPU Power4 750Mhz.
All that is necessary was ML10.
That being said I doubt I could even try to boot off these 4.3.3 CDs
any more. :( Good thing this guy is moving to 5.1 next month.
BTW: what problems are you seeing with your F80?
