You might have to set a .rhosts file under home directory and put the name
of the serverb in the file.....

Hi

Use keys - it he best and safest way to go
For more info see

HOWTO: set up ssh keys Paul Keck, 2001
http://www.arches.uga.edu/~pkeck/ssh/

AUUG Winter 2002 - SSH Protocol, Tips and Tricks

But remember everytime you change ssh by patching or upgrading -
regenerate your keys otherwise it probably will not work

Subject: [aix-l] Question on automating scp between 2 servers

I have a need where I have to setup a cronjob to scp a file from
servera to serverb on
a regular basis.

I've used ssh/scp interactively, but I'm a bit stumped on how to setup
a script where scp
doesn't prompt me for the password.

     Suggestions???????
