Hello,
I have been fighting a problem since early last month.
System: RS /6000 7025 Model F40
OS: Was 4.2.1 on Nov 1st. Dec 14th upgraded to 4.3.3 ML08

Nov 1st IBM came out and installed some new hardware including a FC
6205: PCI Dual Channel Ultra2 SCSI (Type 4-R) controller. Our lovely
T/S people could not find the driver they needed for this controller so
I RTFM and pointed out to them exactly what one to load. In the mean
time they installed anything that might be right. (not sure what they
loaded)

Dec 3rd we tried the Upgrade but did not have access to the P21 system
or data so we went back.
Dec 14th I upgraded to 4.3.3 all went well except

ON 4.2.1 we had rootvg mirrored with another drive.
Now on 4.3.3 we have our data mirrored but the rootvg is not
mirrored and it fails because it says that this devices doesn't support
booting from our 4th drive. (It is on the new controller)

OUR lovely T/S people have been telling me that they don't know what is
going on. So I pressed for an escalation to IBM. The CE came out and we
loaded the latest firmware on the system and all of the disks. He could
not find the firmware for the card. Our lovely T/S people say that it
is hardware not software.

Any ideas where I can find the firmware for this card?? How do I find
out what firmware is now on the card??
Is it even flashable??
