Not entirely sure, but my db box with raid 10 arrays has adapters that show
up like that....firmware?

Subject: ssaraid & raid_10

Hello AIXers,

I cannot seem to use a raid level other than raid_5 on my 4330_09 system.

trying to create a raid_10 array:
# ssaraid -C -l ssa0 -t raid_10 -s pdisk4 pdisk5 pdisk6 pdisk7
ssaraid: Unknown create type: raid_10

listing available array types:
# ssaraid -Ya -l ssa0
raid_5 RAID-5 array
# ssaraid -Yc -l ssa0
raid_5 Create RAID-5 array from pdisks
# ssaraid -Yo -l ssa0
disk Physical disk
nvram_broken Dormant NVRAM entry
blank Missing member disk
raid_5 RAID-5 array
cache_broken Dormant Fast Write Cache entry

hardware:
ssa0 10-68 IBM SSA Enhanced RAID Adapter (14104500)

I have spent quite some time searching the archives & redbooks & google, but
cannot seem to find the problem, other than possibly that apadter *only*
supports raid_5, which I would find hard to believe.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated, thanks & Regards,
Bernie.
