This is Lan Manager problem , windows 2000 by default send NTLM responses only , you need change this to LM & NTLM responses
Logon to win2000 as administrator Go to Administrative tools >> local security policy >> local Policy >> security options >> Lan manger authentcation level ( Change this to LM & NTLM RESPONSES )

Hi All ,
I have installed and configured AIX fast connect on AIX4339 . I can access
shares defined on AIX system using windows 95 and NT but not 2000 .
Does anyone know if there are any issues accessing 2000 ? When I try net
use command I get access denied error . It won't accept user name and
password .
