[Q] how to check tape cartridge is write protect?

We have IBM RS/6000 server (AIX 4.3.3)with different tape driver on it
(4mm, LTO, DLT). I knew I can use "mt -f /dev/rmt0 rewind" to check tape
cartridge inside tape driver. Does their has command can check tape
cartridge "write protect" or not?
