try changing the type to 012C, then check the tapes in
mtlib -l libname -C -t 012c -V 040310

Subject: cant checkin come 3494/3590 tapes to adsm

When I use mtlib to display 3590 volumes in the 3494, the 3 sub-type
charectistic (or whatever its called!)
is set to 01 from two of my ADSM volumes. The same two that ADSM will not
let me checkin.
040310 in the below snippet from mtlib -L, is an example.

When I attempt to checking with ADSM, it says 0 volumes found and ends.

Does anyone know what the 01 in the 3 field represents? How I can unset it?
etc. thanks.
