I'd be very interessted in hearing about your JFS2 problems on 32-bit
kernel.

I saw some serious problems with this combination on our regattas early
this year, and have tried to stay away from JFS2 after that. In april
I had to restore one node from mksysb because of lots of filesystem
corruptions. Stresstesting a 150GB JFS2 filesystem by running

        bonnie++ -r 64000

on it caused this and other filesystems to 'hang'. Seemed like the
filesystems got metadata updates, but no data updates, so thousands of
files ended up with size=0. Luckily I had a very recent mksysb image
available and restored from that.

I haven't dared testing bonnie++ on JFS2 after that, but if anybody
want to try, they can download it from:
