Shrink /dev/hd4 (/)

Hi All;

Environment:
SP Model 9076 (1 Frame w/ 7 nodes)
AIX 4.3.3 ML8
P.S.S.P 3.2
ptfset 8

Is it possible to shrink /dev/hd4 - "/" on a specific node? And if so would I follow the same procedures as shrinking /usr? Whoever setup this cluster allocated too much rootvg space to / and I'd like to reclaim some of it (1.3GB) on node1 if poissible - as I need it pretty bad.

If it is possible, has anyone had any expeience with this sort of thing?

Thanks;
Theresa
