Bill:
I tryed that, and got:

# chvg -u rootvg
0516-328 putlvodm: Identifier not entered.
Usage:
        putlvodm [-a IntraPolicy] [-B label] [-c Copies] [-e InterPolicy]
                [-L LVid] [-l LVname] [-n NewLVName] [-r Relocate] [-s Strict]
                [-t Type] [-u UpperBound] [-y Copyflag]
                [-z Size] [-S StripeSize] LVid
        putlvodm [-o Auto-on] [-k] [-K] [-q VGstate]
                [-v VGname] [-V] VGid
        putlvodm [-p VGid] [-P] PVid
0516-732 chvg: Unable to change volume group rootvg.
#

It is like if I cannot see rootvg.
Any other idea?
Do you need more data?
Thanks a lot!

Ignacio
