vt320 works fine, hmc is latest (3.2.6), but I still this approx. 20-line screen even though resize looks good
(0)sbe13604: /root 503# export TERM=vt320
(0)sbe13604: /root 504# resize
COLUMNS=140;
LINES=56;
export COLUMNS LINES;
(0)sbe13604: /root 505#
any more hints?

Hi Holger
1. You have to type the two characters: "~."
2. We use VT320 and it works fine, but your Problem is the HMC-Software-Level.
Upto Version ??? you are not able to resize your Terminal window whithout Problems.
The Level we use is 3.2.5 (Command lshmc -V), and everything is o.k.
good luck
Uwe

Betreff: hmc terminals
Hello,
what do I have to type to get out of a hmc-terminal?
I am not using the graphical one of websm, but mkvterm from the command line.
Which terminal-types work well?
I tried vt100, looks good, but I have very small screen-sizes f.e. in diag.
Of course I could try out all supported terminal-types, but if anybody already did...
Regards,
Holger
