Newly formed company ABC Ltd has an MS Excel spreadsheet managed by a Sales Rep. to manage and track the companies sales.
The company is expanding rapidly and the Excel spreadsheet is becoming too large. New sales reps. have been employed who will need concurrent access to the sales spreadsheet to enter and track new sales leads. The company director now needs to create a weekly sales report and the payroll department need a monthly report to calculate commission. The original spreadsheet has outlived its initial usefulness and as requirements are changing and expanding and a new solution is needed.
