We are in the market for a refurbished GS1280 Model 8 system with 1.3 Ghz
CPUs and 48 GB RAM. I would like to see what kind of recent experiences
anybody has had procuring a system, and any recommendations. In
particular, I am wondering about experiences regarding system licensing
and getting HP hardware support for the system.

Also, has anybody noticed a degradation in the quality of support from HP
regarding the ALPHA and Tru64?
