Environment: Compaq Tru64 UNIX V5.1A / COMPAQ Professional Workstation
XP1000

I want to authenticate users at a LDAP-server (Windows 2003) using samba.
After download samba 3.0.7 from the samba-Site the configure commands leads
to following error:

configure: WARNING: ldap.h is needed for LDAP support
checking for Active Directory and krb5 support... yes
configure: error: Active Directory Support requires LDAP support

Google finds a lot of users who have obtained the same problem, but I do not
find a solution.

Any ideas? Maybe I have do install some additional subsets of the TRU64?

Thanks in advance
