Quota.group file issue

Greetings Admins:

I recently 'cloned' one of our Tru64 4.0G systems onto different hardware.
I booted off of CD, built a generic system, and then laid our backup (vdump
created) down on top of the root and usr filesystems. We use this method
for DR activities and it's worked well. I'm giving this info as background;
it may be irrelevant to the issue.

I noticed later when backing up (using vdump) this 'cloned' system that the
root_domain filesystem had a quota.group file that was in excess of 136GB.
It wasn't really that big but a filesystem listing (using the ls command)
was reporting it that way. Vdump was treating that way but thankfully must
have compressed it to the nothingness that it really was.

My question is - does anyone know what might cause this? Any way to get rid
of this? The source system does not have a corresponding file that size.
HP support has thus far skirted the central question but I will press
further and report back.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.
