LSM priv size, more info

Here are my notes. As a test, I created a new configuration on 5.1a with
1024 privlen on each disk. I could make a filesystem on one of them, but
when I tried to mirror, I got an error, shown below.

Can disks in 5.1a not be mirrored unless they have a privlen on 4096? If
that is so, we're going to have a big problem. When I upgrade from 4.0f to
5.1a, now I have these mirrored LSM volumes with privlen of 1024. What
happens when one of the disks goes bad? I won't be able to replace a disk
and remirror.

Does anyone have any ideas?

thanks

Creating a new sqdg with privlen 1024
# voldisksetup dsk1 privlen=1024
# voldg init dsk1 privlen=1024
# voldiskadd dsk1

Added dsk3 same way as above.

New volume and filesystem on dsk1
voldg free shows the same number of blocks free on dsk3 as the length of the
filesystem on dsk1.
