Hi all,
Many thanks to Dr. Thomas Blinn who has pointed out the problem with IDE
Controller. It was a problem with On-board IDE Controller. I did various
options with different IDE -CD drive/ cable/ Jumpers for Master & Slave
but problem was not resolved.
Finally I changed the IDE CDROM with SCSI CDROM Drive. It worked
perfactly.

Hi all,
I'm presently facing problem with my Alphaserver ES40, which was earlier
configured with OVMS. When I boot the system with Tru64 Unix 5.1A CD it
gives me following messages, which it repeats 2-3 times & then crashes
with some dump.
cam_logger: CAM_ERROR packet
cam_logger: bus 0 target 1 lun 0
ss_perform_timeout
timeout on request on the bus, scheduled bus reset
Active CCB at time of error
ATAPI_PKT_SM
Unknown interrupt STS 90 reason 1
System boots perfactly with OpenVMS. Also I have changed Console
Parameters for Unix i.e.- boot_osflags a, os_type Unix etc. With this
error I'm not able to install OS at all on the system.
I have also tried changing SCSI cards/ Cables/ Disks, still problem
persists Can you please guide me if you have some solution for this
problem.
