Hello all,
several years ago I managed to get (via a summary on this list) a
copy of an experimental (``no warranty, etc.'') loopback disk driver
(ldisk) for Digital UNIX 4.0D. This worked fine for me and I used it
frequently for reviewing / verifying iso CD images.
Unfortunately it seems that this version does not work on 4.0G (I did
not really expect this), which currently prevents me from upgrading.
Does anyone know of a ldisk.mod + ldisk_configure for 4.0G?
I would appreciate to get a copy of this very useful driver, if possible.
In the hope that this piece of software did not get lost on the
DEC/Compaq/HP transitions...

disk to another disk while the data is online. Sorry to compare UNIX's
but I know in AIX you can "mirgatepv" where you add a disk to a Logical
Volume (domain) and then you can just migrate the data to the new disk

Now I looked at the "migrate" command but that loo
