Dear Sirs

Please I 'm still dealing with the installing of gcc 3.3 on my OSF1 V4.0F,
finally I could see I had a problem with the Standard Header and Libraries
files, I have passed successfully the configure stage, then after executing
the command:

gnumake bootstrap

I had a bit trouble with "virtual memory exhausted" but this was
documented, so, I retried to configure with the command:

configure --with-gc=simple

As says the documentation at
http://gcc.gnu.org/install/specific.html#alpha*-dec-osf*

Then I executed gnumake bootstrap again, all was fine, the "virtual memory
exhausted" message doesn't appear more, but after some time appeared the
message:

cc1plus: out of memory allocating 4899840 bytes after a total of 132990128
bytes
gmake[3]: *** [verify.lo] Error 1
gmake[3]: Leaving directory
`/usr/local/src/objdir/alphaev56-dec-osf4.0f/libjava'
gmake[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
gmake[2]: Leaving directory
`/usr/local/src/objdir/alphaev56-dec-osf4.0f/libjava'
gmake[1]: *** [all-target-libjava] Error 2
gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/src/objdir'
gmake: *** [bootstrap] Error 2

Please why occurs this????? I'll thank very much your help. Could´somebody
here give me some hint about this issue??

Thank you for your help in advance.
