Hi managers.

As usual answers and suggestions arrives at an amazing rate :-)

summary of problem:
My problem was that i wanted my unix machines to use an internal server as
mail gateway, but no matter what i tried
they kept on trying to go outside the house to get the adress of my
mailserver.

The following were so kind to guide me in the right direction:

Kalle Henk
Thomas Sjolshagen
Phil Baldwin
Udo de Boer

I tried to fiddle with mailsetup and bindsetup to no help, then Phil Baldwin
suggested that it was propably
resolv.conf and scv.conf who were the reasons to my problems, he was right.

In svc.conf i took all bind,yp of from all the lines
and then i renamed resolv.conf to something else....

I also checked my sendmail.cf and found no DR line so i inserted one and
corrected th DW line to reflect my host file

Now my 2 unix servers are perfectly isolated from any external nameservers,
and i have the desired functionality..

best regards from Denmark
