SUMMARY: default tty settings

Outside of editing /sys/include/sys/ttydefaults.h and recompiling the
kernel, no means of changing the default port settings and making them
sticky was found.

We have opted to use tcsetattr() within the program and recompile if and
when we have to change the values.
