hi All :
I have a Compaq machine running Tru64 5.1a with a web application
running on Tomcat.
The application will run until certain period the Tomcat is not
responding further http request.
Try to shutdown the Tomcat gracefully but not successful and killing the
process using "kill -9" or "kill -15" cannot kill the process.
The Java version is java-1.3.1_04 and tomcat is Tomcat 4.0.3.
The command line is :
/opt/java/bin/../bin/alpha/native_threads/java -Xms32m -Xmx256m
-Dlss.mail.protocol=imap -Dlss.mail.port=-1 -Dlss.ldap.host=172.16.74.55
-Dlss.ldap.port=389
-Djava.endorsed.dirs=/opt/jakarta-tomcat-4.0.3-subscriber/bin:/opt/jakarta-tomcat-4.0.3-subscriber/common/lib -classpath /opt/java/lib/tools.jar:/opt/jakarta-tomcat-4.0.3-subscriber/bin/bootstrap.jar -Dcatalina.base=/opt/jakarta-tomcat-4.0.3-subscriber -Dcatalina.home=/opt/jakarta-tomcat-4.0.3-subscriber -Djava.io.tmpdir=/opt/jakarta-tomcat-4.0.3-subscriber/temp org.apache.catalina.startup.Bootstrap start
Is there any tools or way I can trace why the Tomcat is hanging on Tru64
?
