setld problem (Tru64 v4.0F)

Hi,

Possibly a newbie question and I have a suspicion I once fixed this before
but for the life of me I just can't work out the fix for this now...

I have a Tru64 v.4.0F machine which I don't have physical access to.

Now I'm trying to configure this as a dev machine for R & D.

I've installed the various RTL's and Compilers however before the C
compiler will install it needs a few extra subsets from the Tru64 Base OS
install CD (software dev tools, headers etc). This isn't a problem as the
contents of the CD have been copied locally to the machine.

# pwd
/home2/Tru64_4.0F/OS_install_CD
# ls
.cshrc .twmrc dev mnt tmp
.login 00README.TXT etc osf_boot usr
.mrg...login ALPHA genvmunix proc var
.new...cshrc DOCUMENTATION home sbin vmunix
.new...login DXsession instctrl shlib
.new...profile Digital_UNIX isl subsys
.new..DXsession GENERIC lib sys
.profile bin mdec tcb

Now when I do a setld -l ./ in the above directory it picks up the
software and lists all available subsystems available for installation.

I get this error when installing (its the same for all subsystems but the
one below is for the Software Development Desktop Environment) :

My guess is I'm not running setld in the right directory (as the paths
above seem to be relative to somewhere other than where I am).

If worst comes to worst I can ask someone to stick in the CDROM and
install from there but I can't see why installing from a dump of the CD's
files shouldn't work (I even tried linking /home2/Tru64_4.0F/OS_install_CD
to /mnt/cdrom and installing from there but got no joy).

Installing other downloaded (non CDROM) subsystems is fine (eg the C,
Fortran, Math Library runtimes and MPI libraries).

Any tips or advice for retrofitting these bits from the orginal Tru64 v4
CD (without actually having to use the CD) ?

Thanks in advance,
Raj.
