Hello All

Thank you all for you help:

PROBLEM:
I have not been able to describe the problem correctly.
The problem is:
I have two servers sharing some disks, The disks are made
by making logical drives on the raid5. I take backup of
all the filesets by vdump.
Two disks fails in the raid5 array, the disks are all
history.
I recreate the raid5 array and create the logical disks
again, by reinitialise the raid5 again.
The situation now is, that I have a UNIX OS cd-rom, and vdumps
of all the filesets.
I boot on the UNIX OS cd-rom, and can restore all filesets.
My situation now is, all filesets are restored, but how do i get
the quorum system up and running again ?
I have no partitions marked with cnx and the quorum disk is not
labeled.

/Lars

MY SOLUTION:I solved the problem by reinstalling the cluster and restore
the application data again, and that worked, but I think it
should be possible to get up and running again, just from
the UNIX cd-rom and the vdumps of the filesets.

THE SOLUTION TO BE TESTED IS:
The solution I will try out in the lab is the following:

> >>>b -fl ai
>
>which eventually prompts you to:
>
> Enter: <kernel_name> [option_1 ... option_n]
> or: ls [name]['help'] or: 'quit' to return to console
> Press Return to boot 'vmunix'
>
>and reply:
>
> # vmunix clubase:cluster_expected_votes=1
clubase:cluster_qdisk_votes=0

which will hopefully allow you to boot the first node without a quorum
disk. Once booted you can boor the second node and then configure a
quorum
disk vith the:

         clu_quorum -d add <dsk??> 1

command. Good luck.
