ldapsearch fails

Hi managers,

we are running 5.1a, security level C2, Internet Express with its LDAP
6.1
So far it works fine, login with/without C2/ldap-authentification,
/usr/internet/ldap_tools/ldap_get_users gives a reasonable answer.

But /usr/internet/openldap/bin/ldapsearch fails:
version: 2
#filter: (objectclass=*)
#requesting: ALL
#

#search result
search: 2
result: 0 Success

#numResponses: 1

That's all - it finds something but does not tell what ??

Any hints are greatly appreciated.
