Hi managers,
we want to install a 2-node Cluster on a AS 1000 XP and AS 2100 3/500 with
SWXCR-04-controlled (HSZ40-type) shared disks and a LAN-direct-crossover-
Interconnect.
Starting with Tru64-Unix V5.1a (the ddr.dbase was modified for SWXCR) on the AS
1000 (member1) with clu_create and clu_add_member of AS 2100 (member2) worked
fine; apart from starting the X-server and building a new kernel on the member2!
Even the internal RAID of member2 controlled by a Mylex-Controller was working.
Patching the cluster with PK4 resulted in a reboot-failure of the AS 2100 3/500;
errot-message:
"Waiting for second members boot_partition to be registered"
(located on a SWXCR-controlled shared disk)
and the Mylex-controlled could no longer be found, resulting in a
DDR-base error !
Thus it seems that the above mentioned disks are no longer supported from
TruCluster 5.1a with PK4 .
Can anybody point out, which patch-kit propably makes the trouble and up to
which patch-kit I can update without loosing support for SWXCR- and
Mylex-Controller ?
Any help would be appreciated
