Hi all,
We've just upgraded to 5.1B PK2 (t64v51bb22as0002-20030415.tar)
and now have some problems with ftp client and server.
With the new ftpd server, 'Fetch' no longer works on our Macs,
and I've had to fall back to the old version (Compaq Tru64 UNIX Version 5.60)
and with the new ftp client, we get complaints from, e.g.
ftp.gnu.org:

New ftp client:
---------------

alf1_tsh> ftp -d ftp.gnu.org
Connected to ftp.gnu.org.
220 GNU FTP server ready.
Name (ftp.gnu.org:tsh): ftp
---> USER ftp
230 Login successful.
---> PASS XXXX
500 Unknown command.
Login failed.
---> SYST
215 UNIX Type: L8
Remote system type is UNIX.
Using binary mode to transfer files.
ftp>

Old ftp client:
---------------

alf1_tsh> /old_usr/bin/ftp -d ftp.gnu.org
Connected to ftp.gnu.org.
220 GNU FTP server ready.
Name (ftp.gnu.org:tsh): ftp
---> USER ftp
230 Login successful.
---> SYST
215 UNIX Type: L8
Remote system type is UNIX.
Using binary mode to transfer files.
ftp>

Has anyone else seen this?

Cheers,
Terry
