Hi all,
I've been running SAP and Informix 7.3.1FD2X2 using BASE security. Looking
through the list history, someone back in 1999 got Informix 7.3 and C2 to
work under 4.0E. After changing security to ENHANCED, I've been unable to
run R3trans test connections from the SAP service (same server).
The sapr3 account can be logged into from telnet ok.
I've changed the password length from 7, 8 and 9 in case it may have been a
length issue. No difference.
I've changed the sapr3 password in table sapuser to match the current
password.
I've changed the sapr3 password expire to 0
I've changed the root set bit in secconfig
All to do avail.
The online log say:
15:04:13 Password Validation for user [sapr3] failed!
15:04:13 Check for password aging/account lock-out.
15:04:13 listener-thread: err = -952: oserr = 0: errstr = sapr3: User
(sapr3)'s password is not correct for the database server.
Any ideas?
