Hi managers,
We have several DS-10 machines running Tru64 5.1B, and also some running on 4.0F.
The machines are running X servers with the standard Motif window manager.
We have noticed a problem:
Occasionally, the right mouse button stops working. It is used in our mwm configuration to call up a menu. This is not possible anymore when the problem happens.
Yesterday, we had the situation that it quit again under mwm, but we were still able to use the right mouse button in an application window.
The machines where the problem has occured are connected five to one keyboard-video-mouse switch. When the problem occurs, usually only a single machine is affected. The problem most recently occurred after a reboot, but it also happened before during normal operation.
Has anyone here ever had similar problems with their mice, if so what was the cause?
