Well, I got many replies that stated to modify /etc/profile or /etc/csh.login depending on which shell it used. This is ONLY valid for interactive shells. The best example I can give of a non-interactive shell is what gets utilized in a cron job. No profile or login files are read. I worked around my problem by putting a symlink in /usr/bin which is always (it appears) in the default path.
