Looking for a program to read through serial Port

   Hallo,
    I have a user who wants to read datas through the serial port of an
    AlphaStation 255/300. He wants to use /dev/tty01. The speed is 2400.
    I have defined the port speed to 2400.
    He gets 150bytes every 10min. interval.Eventhough the datas are
    coming at regular interval, it looks he is having some synchonisation
problems.
    His program runs on IBM as well as on a linux systems without problems.
    On Tru64 the datas are not read correctly after certain time reading.He
is using
    Tru64 version V5.1A with PK4. Has any one got a program to read from
serial port?
    On VMS system DEC(Good old days) provided us a program. The user has
written
    the C-Program for IBM and Linux.
