Hello Managers,
we have an two alpha 4100 server connected to RA3000
boxes with trucluster configuration, operating system
running on the servers is Tru64unix ver 4.0F.
We are upgrading the existing low capacity 4.3 GB HDD
to 108GB.
We are acheiving this 108GB  by striping 3  number of
36GB at hardware level i.e. RAID0 using command
console ver 2.0 storage works.
I am able to create a virtual disk of 108 GB at the
command console.
But when i give disklabel at the system as shown
below:
# disklabel -r /dev/rrzf128c
This is showing me only 36GB instead of 108GB. If I
use the following
commands :
# disklabel -z /dev/rrzf128c
# disklabel -rw /dev/rrzf128c rzxx
It is showing me 4.3 GB only , this may be due to the
old info stored
in the controller. We are upgrading the system online
without rebooting/shutting down.
My questions:
Is there any limitation with the size of the disk
either virtual/physical) in Alpha 4100 or tru64 ver
4.0F.
Waiting for ur replies, thanx in adv.
Reagards,
chandra babu
