FTP and IP routeing

Admins,

I have a two member 5.1a PK4 cluster with 5 IP addresses.
Two base, one default alias and an application alias on each server.

When a client FTP's into the alias address on server A
they recieve a reply from the base addresses.

Is ther anyway to change this behaviour to force use
of the alias address?
