can't access mail

Good Morning,
        What a great way to start a Monday. Logged onto our oracle account,
and was going to check any mail the account has received, and I get the
message
        binmail: mail file /usr/spool/mail/oracle exceeds message number
maximum of 1024

Obviously, nobody has been checking the mail! How do I resolve this?
