UPDATE: Steamd and virtual memory

I've been working with HP Tech Support on this one. Sent them some collect
data and had them peruse it. They are thinking that I might have some
memory leaks that would be corrected by installing patch kit 4. I prefer to
let patch kits mature a little before installing unless it's critical of
course. Has anyone installed PK4 and have any positive or negative feedback
for me?

Subject: Steamd and virtual memory

We're running Tru64 5.1a with PK3 on a ES40 cluster. We made
vm:vm_swap_eager=0 so that our swap space should be used if necessary and
released when no longer needed. We started noticing that our free swap is
gradually decreasing over time on each node. Using collgui (what a great
tool...) I can see that steamd keeps eating up more and more swap on both
nodes. Anyone else seen this and can offer a solution?

Our glory is not in never falling, but rising every time we fall.
