AS 3000 not booting from Tru64 CD

Hi,

I got two really good equipped AlphaServers for free an AS800
and an AS 3000 (Mod.3305). With >>>sho config both are identical
(except memory size, disks). Although we I made a firmware upgrade
it identified the AS3000 as an AS800. (Both had formerly been used
as WNT servers)

I could instal with no problems Tru64 V5.1B on the AS800 from CD.
But I have no success to get the AS3000 booted from CD. Shortly
after "Unix Boot" I get the messages

Warning: proc_type 0x7 / systype 0xffffffe5 unknon
init_platform not implemented on this platform

and the system halts.

Any idea what goes wrong here? It would really be sad to get it not
running (500MHz Alpha,256 MB, much disk space - better than
other nix boxws I still have running)

Any hint what to do is appreciated.
