I have a three member cluster running 5.1 and I'm attempting to do a rolling
upgade to 5.1A.
Currently I'm trying to do the Preinstall Stage of the upgrade and I get the
following prompt:
Enter the full pathname of the cluster kit mount point ['???']
I've mounted Volume 1 of the 5.1A Tru64Unix and TruCluster Server Update kit
on the system on the directory "/cdrom", so I enter "/cdrom". I then scrolls
pages of messages like:
find: /cdrom/bin/ld : No such file or directory
find: /cdrom/cluster/members/member : No such file or directory
find: /cdrom/cluster/usr/members/member : No such file or directory
find: /cdrom/cluster/usr/var/members/member : No such file or directory
find: /cdrom/dev : No such file or directory
find: /cdrom/etc/autopush.conf : No such file or directory
...
Then the prompt returns with an error:
*** Error ***
A cluster kit was not found at the specified location: /cdrom
Enter the full pathname of the cluster kit mount point ['???']:
Now I've tried several directories and sub-directories, but it doesn't seem
to like any of them. What's going on here?
